Primary Purpose
The SLP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Supplier Risk Assessment, Qualification and Performance process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to evaluate and mitigate supplier risks while driving process improvements. Additionally, the SLP Supervisor will be involved in optimizing the Supplier Data Management system, enhancing efficiency, automation, and data accuracy.
Responsabilities
Supervision and Team Leadership
- Supervise SLP team responsible for managing the Supplier Risk Assessment process with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance, and support to team members to ensure efficient and accurate execution of tasks.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the team.
- Provide feedback to the SLP team on opportunities for improvement in Supplier Risk Assessment.
Stakeholder and Supplier Risk Assessment, Qualification and Performance Evaluation
- Oversee the creation, modification, and maintenance of Supplier Risk Assessment processes in the organization's information systems ARIBA and Zendesk.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of supplier risk assessment through regular audits and quality control measures.
- Review and validate supplier risk assessment documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Validate and approve or reject supplier risk assessment based on approvals from stakeholders.
- Conduct and oversee periodic tests of supplier risk reassessments to monitor ongoing compliance and mitigate potential risks.
- Provide guidance and orientation to internal SI users and stakeholders regarding the supplier risk reassessment process.
- Propose and coordinate with Sr. Business Analyst the changes and improvements to the supplier registration supplier risk reassessment process.
- Implement changes and improvements to the supplier risk reassessment process.
- Engage with future stakeholders to review and implement new processes within the company's ERPs, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.
Reporting and Analysis
- Generate reports and metrics to monitor the performance and integrity of Supplier Risk Assessment activities.
- Analyze trends and identify opportunities for process improvements or corrective actions.
- Prepare reports or presentations for management as needed.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Support regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide evidence requested in audits of the area in coordination with Management.
- Implement controls and safeguards to protect sensitive vendor information and intellectual property.
Experience
- Experience in handling, control and management of master data and confidential information.
- Proven experience in supplier data management
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor relationships, and financial operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Zendesk, Sharepoint, MAX, SupplyER). Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Working experience in multinational/multicultural teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to vendor management in Mexico and US is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP and Ariba SLP modules. (advanced)
- Ability to work collaboratively with varied stakeholders. (advanced)
- Ability to inspire, motivate and manage high performance teams. (advanced)
- Ability to manage risks and uncertainties.
- Knowledge of accounting and internal control.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.).
